Welcome to Mind Full Therapy

Together, let’s work towards making sense of your emotional world.
You are not alone.

What Brings You Here?

Are you feeling stuck or lost? Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, or feelings you don’t quite understand or have the words for? Are the effects of trauma or abuse showing up in your life in painful or confusing ways? Perhaps struggles are feeling insurmountable. Or maybe it has become a challenge to find value or meaning in your life and you feel caught in patterns or cycles that are causing you harm.

Whatever brings you here today, I welcome you to connect with me.

A little bit about me

My name is Teresa Labriola and I am the mind, heart, and soul behind Mind Full Therapy. Through my own desire to find fullness and purpose in this life, I was first called towards pursuing the art of storytelling. I studied Theatre and worked as an actor in Toronto. Over the years, through my own exploration of meaning and self-discovery, and as I came to understand my own personal story, I felt a new calling emerge. This time to participate in meaning-making, no longer for myself alone, but with others who are in need of the same care and healing that I experienced through therapy.

Through a client-centered approach, I aim to provide care delivered with an open, empathic, and non-judgmental outlook rooted in an anti-oppressive and anti-racist framework. I approach each client as unique. You have arrived at this present moment in time with your own story. I will engage with you with this understanding in mind and with respect for the road you are on and the way in which you experience the world around you. Together we will address experiences that have led to trauma, feelings of shame, attachment patterns, anxiety, grief, and intergenerational wounds.

Exposed roots of an old tree winding into the earth next to a stream.

Exploring the interconnectedness between your relationship with yourself, with others, and with historical or intergenerational experiences — the essence of the work I do.

My work recognizes the interwoven connections between mind, body, and spirit. We are multi-faceted and complex beings. Each of us brings a uniqueness along with our stories, experiences, and histories. To that end, I aim to provide a holistic and psychodynamic method of care aligned with the Relational Therapeutic model.

“I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being!”
